  Pakistan's most popular sports league is called the Pakistan Super League (PSL). It's composed of 20 football clubs and showcases the country's best footballers. The league started in March 2016 with a general public interest. The league became hugely popular within a year- it was watched by millions around the world. Fans of all sports leagues worldwide followed the progress of the PSL. The first edition of the PSL was held in Lahore and Karachi. The two cities promoted the event by organizing numerous meetings and cricket matches to attract fans. After a successful start, the PSL moved to its second city, Islamabad for its second round.
